Polyvalente créatrice, Caroline Tabah est auteure, scénariste, cinéaste, vidéaste, photographe, chercheuse, conceptrice et metteure en scène, basée à Montréal. Désireuse de partager son amour pour la richesse cinématographique et artistique de l’Inde, Caroline fait la conception et la réalisation de spectacles multidisciplinaires et fonde le Festival du film de l’Inde de Montréal – Made in India en 2008. De plus, Caroline donne des conférences, entrevues, et cours traitant du cinéma de l’Inde. 

Sa passion pour l’Inde et son cinéma la mena en 2009, en Inde, à faire un stage en production de film sur les plateaux de tournage, grâce à la générosité du grand acteur indien Dr. Mohan Agashe. Recevant une bourse de l’Institut indo-canadien Shastri (gouvernement de l’Inde) en 2011, Caroline Tabah fit également un stage de perfectionnement en scénarisation et réalisation avec le légendaire cinéaste indien Shyam Benegal, à Mumbai, en Inde.

Caroline a récemment terminé son premier long métrage documentaire, Taal – Le Rythme de la Vie (2025). Le Berlin Indie Film Festival lui a décerné le prix de la meilleure première réalisation documentaire. 

Son amour pour la musique l’a mené à réaliser des vidéos pour l’artiste musical Temporal Waves soit Water Temple (2024) ainsi que Cortical Network Oscillations (2024) qui a été en nomination lors du 19e gala de la Gamiq dans la catégorie Vidéoclip autoproduit. Elle a également réalisé  Métamorphose (2023)  pour le trio musical MAP.

Ayant toujours eu à coeur l’être humain, depuis quelques années, Caroline a développé une passion pour la pleine conscience qu’elle ne cesse d’approfondir de jour en jour. Elle vient d’ailleurs de créer un nouveau cours intitulé: Photographie et pleine conscience.

A travers ses différents projets et expressions artistiques, Caroline a toujours cherché à apporter quelque chose de significatif dans la vie des gens et à contribuer à mettre en lumière la « Beauté » ainsi les aspects positifs de la vie et de l’être humain.

Based in Montreal, versatile artist Caroline Tabah is a photographer, researcher, author, videographer, screenwriter, filmmaker, concept designer and director. Eager to share her love for the cinematographic richness and artistic culture of India, Caroline conceives and directs multidisciplinary events and founded the Montreal Indian film festival, Made in India, in 2008. Caroline also gives lectures, interviews, and courses on the cinema of India.

Her passion for India and its cinema led her to India in 2009, for an internship in film production on numerous film sets, due to the generosity of the great Indian actor Dr. Mohan Agashe. Receiving a grant from the Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute (Government of India) in 2011, Caroline Tabah did an internship in scriptwriting and direction with the legendary Indian director Shyam Benegal, in Mumbai, India.

Caroline has recently completed her first feature-length documentary, Taal – The Rhythm of Life (2025). The Berlin Indie Film Festival awarded her the prize of Best First Time Director for  feature documentary film. 

Her love of music led her to direct videos for the musical artist Temporal Waves, including Water Temple (2024) and Cortical Network Oscillations (2024), which was nominated at the 19th Gamiq Awards in the Self-Produced Music Video category. Having always had a deep concern for humanity, Caroline has developed a passion for mindfulness in recent years, a practice she continues to explore every day. She has recently created a new course entitled: Photography and Mindfulness.

Through her various projects and artistic expressions, Caroline has always sought to bring something meaningful to people’s lives and to help highlight the beauty and the positive aspects of life, and of the human being.
